It has been nearly a year since our last event, mostly due to a number of changes in my personal life. Things are settling down and I am looking forward to doing more workshops, provided the local community wants to participate, so tell your friends and let’s get creating!
This event will focus on Bodyscapes, something I have excelled at for many years and I have done some bodyscape workshops as well. We will be featuring Mika Lovely, a model I have worked with many times in the past and one of the best for this type of workshop! During this event, we will be using at least 3 different types of light modifiers to create spectacular imagery with differing focuses, from mystical to the delicate, each providing unique fine art results. We may even get into some light painting of sorts, time permitting. I won’t get into specifics for this shoot, but if you have attended my workshops in the past and seen the equipment I have, you can get an idea of what is coming and why I say it is unique to our studio.
While we will have 3 or 4 planned lighting setups (some unique to our studio) for the event, attendees are welcome to provide requests for changing the plan. After all, we encourage attendee participation to promote their professional growth.
Currently planned themes (subject to change):
Bodyscape 1: Without getting into exact setup, this will be a single light with a specific Lightbox to get things started.
Bodyscape 2: We will be changing things up for a single light setup that no other local studio can do.
Bodyscape 3: We will be switching to a 2-light setup for another unique type of bodyscape image that most, if not all, do not do and we may even do my favorite style.
Bodyscape 4 or Light Painting: This set will depend on time remaining and what attendees would like to acquire. We encourage group participation, so this set will allow participants to decide what to shoot, or even how to light it (with our assistance if needed).
Set #5: We rarely have time remaining, but if we do, we will go with a 5th set so every attendee gets plenty of time to shoot and plenty of images for their portfolio.

***What to Bring:
📸 DSLR or Mirrorless camera
🔋 Fully charged batteries & plenty of memory cards
📷 Recommended lenses: 35mm, 50mm, 85mm (best is a 50mm-150mm or 70mm-200mm)
💡 Ideas: We encourage you to expand on your own creativity, so bring your imagination! Also, bring any props, or other items you think you may need (like a tripod, if you prefer one)

No private sessions are planned at the moment. We will post here if that changes.
***Workshop Etiquette:
This is a nude photography session conducted in a respectful and professional environment. All posing and creative direction will be discussed and confirmed with the model. No touching of the model without prior permission.
